Organic vegetables: Ideally, we would like to think that organic produce was grown on small farms with farmers spreading strictly vegetarian compost over the plants without the taint of pesticides or even commercial fertilizers. Please support your local farmer and farm market! In practice, this may be more marketing than reality, especially in supermarkets or large outlets.

Organic foods: Truly organic fruits and vegetables have not been subjected to pesticides and other toxins. They may not look as pretty but are better for us if we can afford them. Peace and good health.
