Hi, i am currently 11 weeks pregnant and from the time i knew i was pregnant i have been taking 0.5g of folic acid and for about 7 days i have been taking prenatal vitamins which also include 0.5g of folic acid. should i only take my prenatal pills?

You can safely stop : You are OK with just using the prenatal vitamins, but your OB provider should be testing periodically for other potential supplements, so stay in touch with her/him.
