Ovarian cysts : Both ovarian cysts and "growths on the womb" can be treated with hormone suppression with birth control pills, if there are no contraindications. Large ovarian cysts require ultrasound to clearly diagnose the size and complexity, and may require laparoscopic biopsy or removal. Uterine growths are usually "fibroid tumors" , benign, but can require surgical removal.
