This is now the 5th time in the past 2 months that i have had the flu. is this normal or what should i do?

Not normal, and: might not be the flu, maybe recurrent upper respiratory tract infection, chronic rhino-sinusitis can be a cause, you haven't mentioned your symptoms though, at any rate kindly visit your doctor for evaluation, and referral if needed to an ENT specialist , and an allergist, if available, good luck
