What could be the cause of extreme throbbing pain in my groin/ hip after a long haul flight?

Need to be checked: Call your doctor or go to an urgent care center to rule out blood clot in the affected thigh so called dvt. You may need a venous doppler ultrasound study. If it comes negative other possibilites needs to be looked at it such as a hernia.
