Infection: Possibly an infected (abscessed) tooth. Imperative that your child see Dentist immediately. As he/she is 2.5 years old, should have been under care of a Dentist or Pedodontist (Pediatric Dental Specialist) for the last year and a half. Your child must see Dentist or Pedodontist immediately, as if it is an infection it may spread rapidly to other organ systems. Call now.
