Results of high TG: Hypertriglyceridemia- Plasma turns milky,triglycerides get deposited on the skin,eyes,joints,. Accentuates atherosclerosis. High TG are often a sign of other conditions that increases the risk of heart disease & stroke as well including obesity & metabolic syndrome. Poorly controlled diabetics can have high TG. Can cause acute pancreatitis. Lower TG by diet,exercise & medications.
