Good health: There is no medicine or nutrition which will delay the development of the cataract. It sounds like a slowly advancing one. He should eat a healthy diet and be in the best of shape for a long life. Cataract surgery is highly successful and minimally traumatic. Tell him not to worry.

Cataracts: Some are slower growing than others. Please continue to have him see his eye doctor. Antioxidents such as in vegetables and vitamin e can help overall health, as does avoiding sugar, getting rest, and exercising. Peace and good health.
