It can be: Without symptoms, therefore the reason for pap smears on a regular basis, but in your 30's to 40's post coital bleeding, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, may be a cause to take a look even if the pap was normal last year. Cervix cancer is highly curable, but less morbid the earlier that it is found.
