How can i tell if i have pink eye ?

Eye is red: Pink eye refers to infection of the surface of the eye or conjunctiva and causes white of the eye to look pink. This can be bacterial, which usually causes a yellow discharge, or viral with minimal discharge. It may feel like there is something in the eye, but there is minimal hypersensitivity to light.
