See your Doctor: You need evaluation to see if it is viral or bacterial infection or allergic pink eye conjunctivitis. The treatment depends on the cause bacterial conjunctivitis can be treated with prescription antibiotic drops, viral is treated differently.Allergic conjunctivitis is treated with antihistamine eye drops with/without oral antihistamines see your doctor or opthalmologist.

Pink Eye Rx: Antibiotic eye drops can be used to treat bacterial pink eye. Most viral conjunctivitis does not require treatment (but antiviral meds may used if it is a herpes simplex virus infection). Allergic conjunctivitis may be treated with mast cell stabilizers or antihistamines.
