Not possible: There are a number of viruses which cause this and the length of infection can be from 5-10 days. There is no specific treatment; just drops for comfort. It will clear without treatment and there is no specific treatment to speed up healing.If you are ten days or more out and still have the problem, go b ack to your ophthalmologist for a second look.
