C/S 08/01/18: After delivery by C/S or vaginal route, there is extra uterine tissue which degenerates when the hormones of pregnancy stop after delivery. This causes some bleeding, but will gradually slow and stop unless all of the placenta was not removed at the time of C/S. If the bleeding continues, or becomes heavier, see your OB for an exam.
