Ear feels sticky when i close my eyes it's my left ear it doesn't hurt?

Tensor tympani: There’s a little muscle in the ear called the tensor tympani that tightens the eardrum when you close your eyes tightly which is probably causing the sticky feeling in your left ear. You may also have wax in the left ear canal contributing to the sensation but DON’T stick a q-tip in your ear to get it out! It will just push the wax further down the ear canal! See your Dr if it bothers you.
