Bee sting: The discoloration may have been caused by some bleeding which occurred at the time of the sting. To relieve itching apply cortisone ointment. Spreading redness,pain,swelling and warmth are to be watched for as these are signs of secondary bacterial infection that requires antibiotic treatment.
