Can swallowing toothpaste kill you?

Not a problem: People swallow toothpaste a little after every brushing of the teeth. Some swallow more. No damage will result nor has any been reported.

No: Have you ever heard of a patient dying of toothpaste/fluoride poisoning. I haven't, and I've been reading the Dental Literature since 1964. FDA would not permit product to contain toxic levels of anything. I don't know where you got the idea that t'paste can kill you, but it's absolutely false. Talk your questioner with a professional, your Dentist.
