Seawater effect on c: While a dermatologist, and NOT an eye doc, I am a scuba instructor, wear lenses and I can tell you that I have had the same happen to me, and have never had a problem. However, it is very important to realize that if you have any irritation trouble with watering or redness of your eyes, you should see your ophthalmologist because there are certain conditions which can be affected by sea water
