Sure it could: although unusual in males at your age gallstones could cause this. They can block bile from entering the upper intestine where it helps by breaking down fats. If blocked by a stone you'd typically feel pain in the upper right abdomen that radiates to your back, bloating, nausea, steatorrhea (fatty stool that floats), light, clay-colored stools. This can be diagnosed with an ultrasound. See doctor.
