Does wolff-parkinson-white-syndrome show on a normal routine ecg or does it only show when someone is having psvt ?

Depends: Hi, In "classic" cases of WPW, it will show up on a resting/routine ECG, however it depends on the proportion of pre-conducted/pre-excited depolarizations relative to normal ones. Sometimes it can be difficult to catch with just the standard 6 second ECG and prolonged telemetry monitoring is needed for proper diagnosis. Hope this helps
