SVT: There must a strong reason why your physician has started you on medication for it. Although you could learn the vagal maneuvers to abort the SVT episodes but don’t try to manage it without medications on your own. Discuss your condition with your cardiologist. Good luck.

Diet/Avoid triggers: A well-balanced diet containing fruits, vegetables, and lean protein is encouraged for heart health. Avoiding substances that may disrupt heart rhythm (“triggers”) such as alcohol, cigarettes, caffeine, and some herbal products may help as well. In some people, it’s impossible to avoid taking medication, so keep your doctor in the loop about whether avoiding triggers helps.
