I have vaginal bleeding as if ive just started my period, but my period finished only a week ago. i went for a cycle yesterday and today and on both exercises i had lower back cramps for a brief few minutes. is this something serious?

Not yet concerning: it is certainly abnormal but not yet concerning. if this keeps happening then you will need an evaluation to make sure there is nothing hormonally or physically wrong. if the bleeding goes away and then your period goes back to normal then no evaluation is necessary. if you have other medical problems or this has happened a lot before then you should get tested.
