Doctor can evaluate: An overdose means taking more than the usual maximum dose. For example, Claritin (loratadine) or Zyrtec are used once a day. Taking 2 in one day shouldn't cause a problem, but 3 in one day would be an overdose. One should contact his doctor in cases of mild overdosage. If one took many tablets, an ER visit would be wise. When unsure, it is just safer to go to an ER and get checked.

Waving a red flag: Most of these are a cry for help from someone with emotional problems. They may select common pills thinking they are not dangerous. However some allergy pills in heavy doses will lead to seizures and death. You need to get her in to an ER where they can treat her. This is a dangerous issue regardless of the pill type.
