URGENT DOCTOR VISIT: Inflammatory breast cancer is a breast cancer emergency. You need to see a doctor and medical oncologist very quickly if you suspect this diagnosis. I always try to see patients with possible inflammatory breast cancer the same day. A skin biopsy can be done immediately if the suspicion is high.
