No: Miralax is a water binding agent. It grabs water molecules & holds them tight, making it hard to remove & dry out the poop. It does not interact with Lutera or other forms of BC.

Very good evening and Happy July 4th Weekend doctors. For occasional constipation can you alternate between Miralax and another laxative like Dulcolax or is Dulcolax too strong to use on an intermittent basis?
I have been constipated for 5 days and desperately want relief. Would taking a double dose of Miralax (34mg) help with this? Or would a stimulant laxative be more effective? Can I eat even though Ive been constipated this long?
