?viral: The symptoms suggest a viral gastrointestinal tract infection although absence of diarrhea is unusual for that infection. If your abdominal discomfort and tenderness is in the lower right abdomen, appendicitis would be a possibility. Nevertheless I recommend a reexamination by your physician in view of the presence of persistent abdominal pain and tenderness.
