Im 52ive had 6 abd cts over the last 14 yrs. not to mention mammos, dental, 4 head cts in younger years, misc xrays, worried about radiation. help!

So are we: We use imaging to gain knowledge. There are many things that cannot be seen with the naked eye. Before ordering imaging the doctor will weigh risk verses benefit. Although radiation is cumulative, todays digital equipment reduces exposure to about the same as normal background radiation. Please discuss your concerns with your personal Physicians/Dentists, but know that information is needed.
