A member asked:

What aerobic exercise can i do with a femoral stress reaction (other than swimming)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Location : It depends on where the stress fracture is located (in the hip or in the shaft), and how painful it is to walk. You need to see a board certified orthopedic surgeon to get a firm answer. But in general, avoid painful activities and high impact exercise. A stationary bike may be acceptable as well. Of course upper body resistance training should be ok.
