Many possibilities: People get a headache at some time, such as from colds, infections, lack of sleep, too much driving, long hours on the computer, stress at work, etc... Over-the-counter treatments include Tylenol (acetaminophen), Motrin, Aleve, Excedrin Migraine, etc... A bad or steadily increasing headache, recurrent or weird headache, a headache you wake up with, or other worrisome symptoms should be examined.
