A member asked:

My daughter is experiencing abdominal pain (worsened by: after meal) (severity: mild) (quality: throbbing sensation) , passing gas, tender abdomen and back pain (side: lower) . the following also describe her: abdominal discomfort, upper abdominal pain,

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: Many things are in the upper abdomen: stomach, pancreas, liver, small intestine, gall bladder, large intestine, abdominal muscles, etc... Exam by a primary care doctor can help figure things out, if symptoms are more than just mild. Pain in the upper abdomen, especially symptoms after eating, can be due to stomach acid heartburn, gallbladder problems (uncommon in kids), stomach viruses, etc...
