Estradiol cream: Estradiol cream is used to minimize and treat the symptoms of vaginal atrophy due to a lack of estrogen which can be dry and painful during intercourse without its' use. As a Rx product it has risks and complications just like any other medication including exacerbating vaginal cancer if used in its presence. Talk to your GYN MD for a full list of "yays and nays" of its' use.
