Irregular periods: It can be normal to have irregular periods for several years after you get your first period. Some women's periods do not regulate until their late teens or early 20's. It may be normal, but it wouldn't hurt to see a gynecologist also to be checked for other possible causes, such as hormonal imbalances or PCOS.
