Limited choices: Daily exercise will lower it some...So can using natural foods like garlic and avoiding saturated fats in the food you eat. But the best results are obtained with the use of pills called statins. Alternatives can only bring down cholestrol level by 10 to 20mg only which may not be enough if your cholesterol level is fairly high.
