Fracture Rule out: Please take your mother to the Emergency Room, or an Urgent Care Center which has an XRay to rule out a fracture. She would need to be casted, and may need to be off weight bearing if it is a fracture. If not, the treatment would depend on what the physician sees clinically. All the best.
