Depends: For most vaginal prolapse surgeries you want to go on what we call "pelvic rest" meaning no intercourse, tampons, essentially nothing placed in the vaginal canal for at least 6 weeks or until your doctor has checked you and said your healing is complete. You should also avoid heavy lifting or straining.
