It happens: The distribution of chickenpox lesions can include your genitals & inside your mouth. They are very superficial sores & will dry up and heal if you keep them clean. There is minor risk of a bacterial infection in weeping sores if not. The spots emerge in waves over 4-6 days before drying out. You are contagious starting the day before you had spots until they all dry or 7 days total. Lotions help
