Gamma Waves: are not found in a specific region of the brain but are a type of brainwave activity, about 40 cps and are associated w/creativity. Other waves include Beta which is 32 cps and where we are in our typical thinking brain. Alpha is about 12 cps and occurs in a relaxed state. Peace and good health.
