Nerves: This is an interesting symptom! My guess is that this may be from a sensitive nerve. We have major nerves with small branches that run through the mouth and other parts of the scalp. Sometimes when you overstimulate a nerve in the mouth it can lead to strange sensation throughout the rest of the "branches". Like a "brain freeze".
