The flu can be very serious, even deadly, during pregnancy. Flu symptoms include fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, muscle aches. A cold on the other hand is usually just sore throat, cough, runny nose.

Meds and pregnancy : Never take medication without discussion with your OB as they know you best. Try and avoid medication unless necessary as side effects may not be well known for the fetus
