It depends: I'm sorry this has happened -- you know the vast majority of pre-B cell leukemias are in children, and adult cases are much less likely to be curable, though most will respond to treatment for a while. The real question is, "When should we stop treatment?" That decision is highly individualized -- get a couple of opinions from oncologists, who tend to be aggressive -- and make the best choice.
