Ask Infectious Dis. : Fever like that requires cultures when the fever is at its maximum . Document ur temp. On a calendar.We have to rule out causes of fever of unknown origen: infections (abscess, cholangitis), cancer ( lymphoma and others )recurrence of cancer if the whipple procedure was done for that, collagen vascular disorders (systemic lupus, rheumatic arthritis, vasculitis) fever from antibiotics. Get i.D.
