A member asked:

I have a lump in front of my ear, it's feels deep like close to the muscle, between the lower and upper jaw,it's a bit painful, what could it be?

Enlarged lymph node: What you described suggests an enlarged lymph gland to inflammation in your mouth or scalp. It may go away on its own. You may feel the node every couple of weeks, if the lymph gland doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor.
