Change in oral bcp's: If the "change" was to take "Yaz" active pills on day five, six or seven after stopping Triphasil, you may be OK, and some period bleeding will occur after you stop the active Yaz pills. If you just stopped the Triphasil, and it was after a week from stopping that you took the first Yaz pill, you may have ovulated and could be pregnant. Get a serum HCG test to be sure.

Hi Doctors. I havent gotten my period since I had a surgical abortion in March & was on Yaz Plus after then switched to Triphasil. I still hadnt gotten my periods since so my Dr put me on Utrogestan but no period still. Could there be a reason?
Does Yaz cause pulmonary embolisms? Is it dangerous? It works the best for my body, because with Triphasil = I get bad water retention, Yasmin = acne breakouts. I use oral contraceptives for my period pain management & regulation since 15,I'm 33 now.
