A member asked:

Wrist pain radiating to elbow n fingers?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Location: Diagnosis depends on which side of the wrist is painful and what fingers are involved. It could be ulnar nerve entrapment (if the small & ring fingers are numb or tingling). Or carpal tunnel syndrome if the thumb, middle, and/or long fingers are involved. It could be tendinitis of the thumb (DeQuervain’s), wrist, the elbow, or all of the above. Location of the pain is the key.
