My son has 4 red dots on his tummy all in one line maybe half a centimeter apart. he currently has the flu what could it be? son is 16 months old.

Hard to say: I can't put this together as part of or a complication of flu. It is likely unrelated to an illness but if in a line may be from contact with an irritant. I would need to see it to even guess & that is not possible through this public site.
