Flutter: This may indicate a transient cardiac dysrhythmia-possible premature atrial or ventricular beat. I suggest wearing an outpatient heart monitor which would record your heart activity for 24-48 continuous hours. You would make note of the time you experience any symptoms. If no flutters occur during that test, arrangements can be made for a longer monitoring period. Discuss this with your physician.
