A member asked:

Have a red patch on my upper lip that seems to get better with moisturizer. it seems to get better but if i stop using the moisturizer it returns?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cheilitis: Persistent or recurrent redness of lips is often caused by substances which come in contact with the face or lips. Drooling or lip smacking habits are not likely. Lip balms, especially containing bees wax, toothpaste, lotions, creams, etc are possible causes.
