4-6 weeks: If you have had a tubal, or ectopic, pregnancy before, you should be seen earlier than 8 weeks. Although some doctors don't want to see you before 8 weeks, it is a good idea to mention that you had an ectopic pregnancy before so they understand that you should be seen earlier. If you have severe pelvic pain, especially if it is one-sided, or heavy bleeding, go to the ED.
