See below : Cystoscopy allows the urologist to directly view the inside of your bladder, prostate (males), and urethra for any underlying pathology (tumors, infection, obstruction, etc). It may be done using either a flexible or a rigid scope and either while awake or under anesthesia depending on the indications and preference of the urologist and pt. Common indications: blood in urine, recurrent UTIs, LUTS.
