A member asked:

How much actual blood is lost during the menstrual period? i've read it's only a couple of tablespoons, but mine seems like there's more than that.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

40ml: Average menstrual blood loss is about 40ml per cycle. Its generally considered abnormally heavy if its over 80ml a cycle. Best wishes!
