Bleeding mid-cycle: The short answer is "no". Bleeding at mid-cycle may be due to twin ovulation, and the subsequent drop in estrogen is exaggerated and produces withdrawal bleeding. If the bleeding continues, wait a week and get a serum HCG test to make certain you are not pregnant. Continued bleeding can indicate an ectopic pregnancy.
